Directions:

From I-40 East or West:
Take Highway 321 to the main Lincolnton exit (Exit 17 – 27/150).  Proceed west on 27/150 into downtown Lincolnton.  Turn right at the intersection of East Main Street and North Aspen Street. Follow North Aspen Street and turn left at Paul Lawing Road – you will see the Battle of Ramsour’s Mill State Highway Marker and Lincolnton High School. Take Paul Lawing Road until you arrive at a stop sign. Turn right if you are going to the Gaither Shrum Memorial Park, or turn left if you are going to Jeb Seagle Road where you will take a right to see the Whig Captains’ Grave, log structures, John Martin Shuford’s Gravesite, and Mass Grave.


From I-85 North or South:
Take Highway 321 (Exit 24) to the main Lincolnton exit (Exit 17 – 27/150).  Proceed west on 27/150 into downtown Lincolnton.  Turn right at the intersection of East Main Street and North Aspen Street. Follow North Aspen Street and turn left at Paul Lawing Road – you will see the Battle of Ramsour’s Mill State Highway Marker and Lincolnton High School.
