The Lincoln County Museum of History is located on the first floor of the Lincoln Cultural Center, and open:

Admission Admission to the museum is free. Donations are accepted.
Location/Map The Lincoln County Historical Association’s office, collections storage, and Sonoco Resource Library are located on the third floor of the Lincoln Cultural Center in historic Downtown Lincolnton, 403 East Main Street, Lincolnton, NC, 28092. The main entrance to the building in located on North Cedar Street.
From I-40 East or West:
Take Highway 321 to the main Lincolnton exit (Exit 17 – 27/150). Proceed west on 27/150 into downtown Lincolnton. Turn right at the intersection of East Main Street and North Cedar Street.
From I-85 North or South:
Take Highway 321 (Exit 24) to the main Lincolnton exit (Exit 17 – 27/150). Proceed west on 27/150 into downtown Lincolnton. Turn right at the intersection of East Main Street and North Cedar Street.

The Lincoln County Museum of History and Lincoln Cultural Center are committed to providing each visitor an enjoyable experience. To ensure that our staff makes the best use of you and your group’s time at our facility, please make us aware of any special needs your group may have.
Wheelchair Access
Visitors in wheelchairs can enter the Lincoln Cultural Center through the North Cedar Street entrance. From this entrance visitors can access the Lincoln County Museum of History, Lincoln Cultural Center gift shop, Art galleries, and Solarium. To access the Timken Performance Hall, Community Room, Bank of America boardroom, Rehearsal Hall, and Art Room, visitors must take the elevator to the second floor. Visitors can take the elevator to the third floor to access the offices of the Lincoln County Historical Association, Arts Council of Lincoln County, Lincoln Cultural Center, and Lincoln Theatre Guild.
Parking
Parking is available on North Cedar Street and East Main Street.
