Clyde C. “Baby Ray” Cornwell This is one of two photographs of Cornwell.  This moment, captured by an identified photographer, show a dapper and rotund Cornwell.  As a freelance photographer, Baby Ray’s images filled The Lincoln County News for thirty years, and his small section called the “Rovin’ Photographer” showcased some of Lincoln County’s citizens as well as their opinions of local, state, and national issues.  Cornwell is remembered as a “Johnny on the Spot,” who seemed to find his way to every major car accident, wedding reception, birthday party, and civic function in the county.
